Video Shot Guide

Your no nonsense guide to outstanding video content.

In today's digital landscape, video is king.

It's not just about showing off your facility; it's about encapsulating the energy, the community, and the transformative journey that begins the moment someone walks through your doors. Quality video content has the power to turn viewers into members, offering a window into the unique experience your facility provides.

Whether it's for Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, the right shots make all the difference. So let's make every frame count.

What to Shoot

  1. Capture all areas of the facility, inside and out. Wide angle shots, close up shots, and any other weird angles you can think up.
  2. Capture action shots of people taking classes, enjoying the amenities, and working with trainers.
  3. Capture what sets your gym apart.

How to Shoot It

  1. Horizontal and Vertical: We like to receive both landscape and portrait shots for versatility across platforms.
  2. Minimize Camera Shake: Aim for smooth movement; using stabilizing gear is recommended where possible, or just lean on on the nearest sturdy equipment or trainer.

A Few Details

Waivers

You likely have release waivers as part of your membership and employment contracts, but if not, be sure to secure waivers before the shoot.

Footage of Past Employees

To maximize the longevity of our video content, we recommend securing permission to use footage featuring employees, regardless of their current employment status. If this is not possible, aim for shots where individual identities are not easily discernable.
