As a member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating digital ad campaigns and landing pages based on direction and strategy from our Creative Director and Digital Marketing Manager and helping launch those campaigns by using various web-based tools.

As a member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating digital ad campaigns and landing pages based on direction and strategy from our Creative Director and Digital Marketing Manager. Along with helping launch those campaigns by using various web-based tools.

The Details

We’re specifically looking for a Digital Designer & Web-Based Tools Specialist who will work with our team to craft social media ads, push the boundaries on our digital ad strategies, create website/landing page designs based on that strategy, and utilize various web-based tools to help us execute results-focused marketing campaigns for our clients.

As an integral member of our team, you will create social media ads and landing pages and manage several web-based tools to build, launch, and monitor, digital ad campaigns. Your role requires a strong design aesthetic, proficiency with modern web-based tools, and copywriting proficiency.

Our ideal candidate is someone with strong communication skills, a passion for finding solutions to challenges, and is capable of using their creative skills to develop stunning digital ads and website experiences. To succeed in this role, you should have a love of design and a passion for technology.

Objectives of this Role

  • Improve the quality and quantity of digital campaigns we can launch for our clients
  • Assist our Creative Director with a variety of design projects
  • Collaborate with our Digital Marketing Manager on social media ad strategies
  • Utilize various web-based tools to improve campaign outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Design digital ads
  • Integrate websites with other marketing tools, such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Zapier
  • Highlight best practices and improve internal processes and documentation for digital ads and landing pages
  • Collaborate, problem-solve, and/or strategize with team members
  • Quick learner
  • Self-starter
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Launch and manage email campaigns with our proprietary software
  • Investigate trends and new technologies in the social media marketing space
  • Has an understanding of advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Google Ad Network, Tiktok, and AdRoll, to name a few
  • Assist with creating content and images for Instinctive Insights marketing on Linked In and Facebook

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years or a clear self-starter, entrepreneurial aptitude demonstrated by showcased projects
  • Experience designing ads for social media and other digital ad networks
  • A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing skills that are relevant to project objectives
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite—InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active team player, self-directed, and motivated
  • The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design/content choices
  • An eye for design and detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe XD
  • Marketing copywriting experience: social media ads, display ads, marketing emails, etc.
  • Web page A/B testing experience
  • Experience using Asana
  • Health and fitness marketing experience
  • Freelance or startup experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

  • As Digital Designer, you will be compensated as a salaried employee of Instinctive Insights based on experience—$35k - $65k.
